The site is situated in the centre of Kent, which is said to be ‘The Garden of England’.
It has access to fishing in the River Medway and for non-fishers there are various other attractions on the River, for example there is ‘Teapot Island’, a very large collection of teapots near to “The Boat” pub, next to the weir.
Kent has its fair share of castles. Leeds Castle, some say is the most beautiful castle in England, just 21 miles away, plus Scotney and Sissinghurst. Tunbridge Wells is well worth a visit, to see the elegant covered and colonnaded walkway, The Pantiles, with its many buildings dating from the 18th and 19th.
A Sunday Carvery Lunch has been booked for Sunday 14th April at Brookers Oast which is within walking distance of the site (veggie options available)
More information to follow nearer the time….
The site is on the A228 near Paddock Wood, Kent.
