Henfold Camping, Caravan & Fishing Lakes (https://henfoldleisureltd.co.uk/) near Dorking is an ideal spot whether you are an angler or not.
The 96-acre park has wonderful views over the lakes, charming woodlands, an on site restaurant/pub and all modern amenities you need. There are great views around the Surrey Hills & South Downs National Park and lots of National Trust view points, all within 15-20miles.
National Trust houses and gardens nearby include Polesden Lacy (9m), Hatchlands Park (13m) & Nymans (13m). If you’re into “tree hugging” then Winkworth Arboretum is nearby (20m) along with Ifield Water Mill Museum (6m) and Reigate Fort (20m).
Alternatively have a day in London (Trains from Dorking to London Waterloo in 1 hour) or a day on the Coast – Shoreham by the Sea (28m) and Worthing (35m) are easily accessiblehttps://www.visitsurrey.com/
