Our second week exploring Devon & Cornwall is based at Little Winnick TP, a mile or so from Pentewan Sands, 3m from St Austell and 3m from the Lost Gardens of Heligan.

The nearest towns are St Austell (3m) and Mevagissey (3m)…the latter a bustling fishing village turned tourist resort.

For NT members there are two notable visits…Lanhydrock (13m) and Trelissick Gardens (21m).

Newquay (18m), St Mawes (19m) and Falmouth (26m) are all worth a visit, as are the Eden Project (7m) and the Lost Gardens of Heligan (3m)…the latter restored to its former glory over recent times
